William graduated from Rutgers Law School where he was a member of the Business Law Review. During his time at Rutgers, William partook in the Community and Transactional Law Clinic, providing transactional and other legal services to qualifying individuals.

Prior to joining Coughlin Midlige & Garland, William served as a law clerk to the Honorable James R. Paganelli, J.S.C. in the Essex County Superior Court Chancery Division.
