Paul Weiner is
Paul is an accomplished Employment and Labor attorney and has been practicing in the industry for over 50 years. He concentrates his practice in the areas of Employment and Labor Law as well as private and court mediation. Paul's practical experience and legal know-how provide unique opportunities for employers in both the prevention of legal complications as well as in providing guidance and representation in legal matters when they arise. Paul also assists employers in dealing with and preventing unions.
Mr. Weiner has represented employers with safety issues since the enactment of the Occupational Safety and Health Act. He has authored articles on OSHA Standard setting, contesting OSHA citations and has been a guest speaker on OSHA Legal matters. Having worked on employment and labor law issues for decades, he brings his experience to help you efficiently and effectively address any legal OSHA issues:
- Developing safety programs and policies
- Training employees on hazardous substance protocols
- Representing employers in OSHA contests following safety citations
- Appealing citations and penalties administered by OSHA
- Advising on abating safety violations
- Representing clients on the appeal of an OSHA citation
Over the last 20 years, Paul has practiced with various law firms in New Jersey specializing in employment and labor law, as well as established his own employment and labor firm the Law Offices of Weiner & Weiner. He also served as an in-house Corporate Labor and Employment Counsel for such establishments as Nabisco Brands and GAF.
Paul is also a well-known speaker in the field of Employment and Labor law and for 30 years served as the Chair of the highly regarded Employment Litigation program for the Practicing Law Institute (PLI). He has written articles for many of the most well respected legal publications and is a co-author of the best-selling text Wrongful Termination A Preventative Approach (1st and 2nd Edition). Paul has also been a guest speaker on CBS News, MSNBC, Channel 12 news, and numerous radio talk shows. He has been quoted in the NY Times, the
